‘Lighter than Darkness’ actor Ali Soleymani passes away

Iranian actor Ali Soleymani-Saransari passes away at the age of 50 due to coronavirus.

Iranian film, television and theater actor Ali Soleymani-Saransari has passed away at the age of 50 due to the coronavirus.

‘The Enigma of the Shah’ actor Javad Hashemi, a friend of Soleymani, confirmed the news on Thursday, saying Soleymani’s health further deteriorated last night and died of cardiac arrest at 5:00 a.m. local time.

Soleymani was diagnosed with the new coronavirus about two weeks ago.

He had recently been hospitalized as his condition deteriorated.

Soleymani appeared in several series such as , ‘Lighter than Darkness’, ‘Kind Moon’, ‘The Story of a City’, ‘Tears and Smiles’, ‘Hello’, and ‘Amin and Mina’.

He also took part in various movies, including ‘A Trip to Chazabeh’, ‘The Survivors’, ‘Land of Grandfather’, ‘Killing Dogs’, ‘Poisonous Mushroom’, ‘Down and Out’, ‘The Wound of Eve’s Shoulder’, and ‘A Little Piece of Heaven’.

He took part in a large number of theater plays.
